"What happened?!"
Bryant rushed down the stairs the moment the front doors creaked open. His heart dropped at the sight: Oliver helping Lav through the entrance, her steps shaky, her head low. The butler, equally startled, darted forward in alarm.
"M-Ma'am!" he exclaimed, reaching out instinctively.
But as Oliver guided her in, tension radiating off him like heat, the butler faltered. His hand froze mid-air, gaze flicking between the three of them. He stepped back, reading the room with quiet precision. This wasn't his moment.
Bryant stormed forward without pause, shoving Oliver back. "What the fuck did you do to her?!" Oliver stumbled but caught himself, jaw clenched, expression hard. "Calm down unless you're itching to get kicked out"
