In a flash of anger, Gabriel held her by her hands, flipping her over from behind him until she landed hard on the wooden table. And as if that was not enough, he grabbed her by the neck, dragging her over the sharp pawns until she landed on the other end of the table, now bleeding profusely.
Giving her little to no room for composure, he grabbed her by the collar and tossed her to the wall as if she was weightless.
He walked towards where she had landed, now trying to get up, and kicked her hard in the stomach. She lay on her back, her hair now sprawled as she sputtered blood.
He knelt beside her, grabbing her by her hair. She grinned at him with her bloody teeth. "Honestly, I never knew you had it in you," she said.
"You know nothing about me," Gabriel said before he landed a punch on her face, breaking her nose in the process.
She coughed out some more blood, Gabriel's fist resting in the air ready to wreck havoc on her face. But for some odd reason, he hesitated.
