Caroline smiled as she shook hands with her, "I was just speaking my mind."
Gan Yuan glanced at Betty, "Thank you so much, Princess Betty!"
"It's nothing," Princess Betty replied indifferently, "But I should remind you, I will challenge you again in a few days. Remember to prepare my necklace and return it to me when I win."
"Necklace?" Duchess Caroline looked at her granddaughter and then at Gan Yuan, "Have you two met before?"
Gan Yuan smiled, "Yes, I had the honor of witnessing Her Highness's archery skills before."
Duchess Caroline instantly burst into laughter, "So you are the one who beat Betty! No wonder this girl has been practicing archery at home daily because she lost to someone."
Princess Betty pouted discontentedly, "Grandma!"
"There's nothing to be embarrassed about losing to Gan Yuan." Caroline laughed as she held her granddaughter's arm, "Didn't you always say you wanted her to be your coach?"
