The whole family sat at the dining table, finally welcoming their reunion dinner. Everyone was seated around the round table, with An Ning to the left of Xiao Zimo and Xiaolong to her right.
Due to An Ning's back, her arm couldn't exert too much strength, so Lin Qianmeng took charge of serving her food. Before long, An Ning's bowl was piled high, thanks in part to Xiao Zimo.
An Ning hadn't felt this sense of family for a long time, so she enjoyed the meal immensely.
After the meal, An Ning sat on the carpet with Xiaolong, playing with building blocks. Xiaolong was very smart and played with complex blocks, sometimes An Ning couldn't find clarity, yet he could do so effortlessly.
A little later, the building blocks were completed.
An Ning felt a bit discouraged.
"Next time, I'll buy you shape-stacking blocks, ones you can stack into ships, houses, animals, they're really challenging."
Xiaolong smiled sweetly, "Okay, I can definitely stack them."
