"Are you really okay?"
He Nan's eyes were full of concern.
"I'm really okay." Shen Mianmian nodded emphatically.
He Nan watched her for a while, and seeing that she seemed indeed fine, he no longer insisted on going to the hospital. "If you feel uncomfortable at any point, just tell me. I'll take you to the hospital to have a look. Don't believe those superstitions about it being bad luck to go to the hospital before the wedding."
"Okay."
