Mai Xiaomai arrived at Abis and Rick's studio holding Xiaoshun.
They weren't there; apparently, they had gone to perform a surgery.
Mai Xiaomai sat inside, waiting for them to return.
She had barely sat down when she heard a familiar female voice outside asking a nurse, "I heard you have two very skilled brain surgeons here. Can I see them? I have something to consult."
Mai Xiaomai looked outside and saw that the woman in the corridor was Lin Na.
Lin Na had just given birth, and since it was a cesarean section, she was still quite bloated. She looked unwell, and her hair was no longer meticulously cared for as before. Instead, it was casually tied up and somewhat unkempt, her eyes dull and she appeared rather haggard.
"They went to perform a surgery. Miss, if you want to consult, please come in and sit down."
The nurse led her in.
