Ning Xia nodded gently, "Don't worry."
The man gently rubbed her head with his large palm before letting two soldiers take him to another interrogation room.
After Ning Xia entered the interrogation room, the soldier was quite courteous to her and even poured her a glass of water.
She smiled, said thank you, and took a sip of water.
About two minutes later, the door was pushed open, and Ai Lin, clad in military uniform, walked in; her face was expressionless, her eyes were extremely sharp and cold.
The soldier stood at attention and saluted her, and she gave a faint nod of her head, then said, "You can leave now."
The soldier instinctively glanced at Ning Xia, but he could not possibly defy an order from a superior, so he quickly acknowledged and then stepped out of the room.
Ai Lin first closed the door of the room, then walked over to the table, placed her hands on the surface, and looked down at Ning Xia who was sitting in the chair from above.
