"What are you asking this for?" Yan Ye arched his eyebrows, not understanding Lian Xinying's train of thought.
However, he figured it out soon enough.
Lian Xinying had evidently put herself in Sister Kim's shoes, probably asking on behalf of Kim.
"Kim thinks Jian Yu's family is just average, so why don't I think it's average?" Lian Xinying was looking for answers from Yan Ye.
"What do you mean by 'average'? And what qualifies as 'not average'?" Yan Ye certainly knew the details about Jian Yu's background, but he didn't know how to explain it to Lian Xinying.
Lian Xinying seemed to have no concept of money.
Sometimes, Yan Ye really wished Lian Xinying would admire him a bit more, but except for the moments when he was naked, showing a slight fan-girl attitude, she never seemed to show any admiration for him at other times.
