"Okay," Weilan said softly, "if I told you now that Jin Min really has those feelings for you, would you believe it?"
"Impossible," Lu Hechen said gravely.
He and Jin Min were simply from two different worlds, how could it be possible?
"See, you don't believe it either," Weilan smiled, looking up at Lu Hechen, his handsome face filled with shock and astonishment. "It doesn't matter if you don't believe it," she added softly.
"Weilan, why would you think like that?" Lu Hechen explained again helplessly, "I really was just helping Jin Min. Can't you not overthink it?"
"Brother Hechen, what do you want? To just explain it away and then turn over a new leaf, starting everything anew?" Weilan retorted.
"Are you really unable to get past this?" Lu Hechen was a little surprised, genuinely not understanding why Weilan was taking it so seriously, "Aren't you being too stubborn?"
Weilan felt a pang in her heart. Was she being stubborn?
