What he didn't tell CC was that on September 11, 2001, the infamous 9/11 event occurred, where two planes crashed into the World Trade Center, destroying the entire complex.
Afterwards, a memorial was built there, known as "Ground Zero," becoming a new landmark of New York City.
"The rolling Yangtze River flows east..."
Lin Xian recited softly in Chinese.
This is history, this is the long river, witnessing everything rising from the ground, only to be submerged again and reset to zero.
He turned his head and looked at the entranced CC:
