Lin Xian pointed at the Brooklyn Bridge in the distance, then turned back to look at CC:
"No matter how much you say, it's just a bridge, a bridge in the physical sense. As long as we have feet, we can walk from Brooklyn across it, maybe just a bit slower... Is there any other reason we can't reach Manhattan?"
"Ha ha."
CC chuckled nonchalantly:
"What's the point of pretending to be something you're not? You don't belong there in the first place, why force yourself to go there? We don't have the qualifications to be in Manhattan at all."
"Why not?" Lin Xian asked.
"Isn't it obvious enough?"
CC jumped down from a shabby wooden box, spread out her arms, showcasing the [Wanderer Suit] she was wearing, then pointed at Lin Xian's freshly updated [Church Suit]:
"See? In Manhattan, nobody wears clothes like ours, nobody dresses like us."
