Upon arriving, Haruto was surprised to see several people already waiting for him.
"Hey! You took so long!" Natsuki complained with an annoyed expression.
"You guys came too early, right? Besides, it's only—" Haruto paused for a moment to check the wall clock in the cafeteria.
"06:15," Lilyana replied calmly.
Haruto was silent for a moment, then sighed. "That's just a few minutes," Haruto said casually, shrugging his shoulders. "Besides, look around. It's still quiet."
Natsuki huffed in annoyance. "Huh, you're still late."
Bellina, who was sitting near them, tried to lighten the mood. "Come on, let's eat first. Aren't you hungry?"
Haruto nodded with a slight smile. "I'm hungry. Let's eat."
Natsuki scoffed softly, "We already ate earlier. That's because you took so long!" she muttered with a pout.
Patrick, who was sitting next to Natsuki, awkwardly patted her shoulder. "Calm down, Natsuki. Just be patient."
After breakfast, the five of them left the cafeteria and walked towards the training room. Lilyana glanced at Haruto with curiosity. "So, where are the first-year kids?" she asked.
"Not far from here. Follow me," Haruto replied casually.
Before long, they arrived at the training room. There, a group of first-year kids was already waiting with frowns on their faces.
"Senior?" Annie approached Haruto with a confused look, her eyebrows slightly raised.
Haruto paused for a moment, turned, and explained calmly. "They will help with your training. The goal is to enhance your fighting experience, improve your movements, and support you in various other ways."
While speaking, Haruto walked towards the training room door. He then took a key from his pocket, turned it, and opened the door with a soft creak. Without saying another word, Haruto stepped inside, followed by Patrick, Natsuki, Lilyana, and Bellina. The first-year kids exchanged glances for a moment before finally entering the room as well.
Once they were all gathered inside, Haruto stopped in the middle of the room and said loudly, "First of all! You will use these!"
With a swift motion, Haruto threw several large, thick metal bracelets towards the first-year kids.
Some of them managed to catch the bracelets, but it didn't take long before they staggered backward, with a few even falling to the floor. Their faces changed as they realized just how heavy the bracelets actually were.
"Each bracelet weighs about five kilograms," Haruto said, pointing at the bracelets. "And you will wear them on both your wrists and ankles. That way, your bodies will carry an additional total weight of twenty kilograms."
The room was filled with sounds of shock. "What?!" one of them shouted.
Even Patrick, Natsuki, Lilyana, and Bellina stared at Haruto with expressions of disbelief.
"Why do we have to wear these?" asked Harl, one of the first-year kids, with a confused look.
