Chapter 1304 - Chapter 1136: The Strange Scenery in the Main Tomb Chamber, a Test, an Imperial Edict!_1

While Luo Yu was lost in thought, Bai Xiao'e and Zhen Fu'er also wore extremely ugly expressions, deep in contemplation.

They were all People of Great Xia and learning such news naturally soured their moods.

They pondered what kind of crisis Great Xia was now facing that could lead to the death of Luo Tiance, the most renowned figure of Great Xia, and the potential downfall of the entire nation.

Bai Xiao'e speculated, "Could it be because the gods that lay dormant beyond our borders are about to fully awaken?"

"That's possible. Since there are no signs of divine resurgence within Our Great Xia, that would indeed be a checkmate," Zhen Fu'er added with a distressed face.

"Tong Tong, predict once more what the cause of this crisis is!" Luo Yu spoke, ready to force out his blood essence without regard for the consequences.

"Master, please don't." The Artifact Spirit intervened, "My main body is currently in a damaged state; I can only predict once every three months at most."

"Nonsense."

Luo Yu's eyes were sharp, "You just made a prediction for us three, and now another one–all within a short period. That's already twice."

The Artifact Spirit said anxiously, "Master, predicting names is a trivial matter with minimal consumption, practically none."

"But predicting the fate of a nation now, the causality involved is too great."

Luo Yu's expression softened, but he still looked troubled.

Anyone who heard a prediction about their grandfather's death and their country's destruction wouldn't be in a good mood.

"Luo Gongzi, the events have not yet happened. Since we know about them in advance, there is still time to avert the crisis," Zhen Fu'er spoke to soothe him.

"Yes, Brother Luo, your grandfather is still fine. Why not leave this place and consult with him? Being careful and vigilant in the meantime is a good idea," Bai Xiao'e chimed in.

Luo Yu nodded, his tightly furrowed brows slowly relaxing.

"You're right; there's no time to waste now. We must prepare in earnest for the crisis that could strike at any moment," he agreed.

"But what exactly is this crisis? Is it ferocious beasts or awakened gods? Or could any of the Foreign Forces possess the power to overthrow Our Great Xia?" Zhen Fu'er conjectured.

Even though she was a person revived from ancient times, her bloodline had always been Great Xia, and it had never changed, not even in the slightest.

Luo Yu analyzed:

"Since the time is precisely sixty-five days away, coinciding with the World Youth Martial Artist Competition, the probability of that being a coincidence is just too low."

"So, it's probably not ferocious beasts causing chaos, but rather the meddling of Foreign Forces."

"Which family has such ability?" Bai Xiao'e widened her eyes, filled with indignation.

Luo Yu sneered, "What if it's not just one family, but many working together?"

Bai Xiao'e's pupils shrunk, "Brother Luo, what do you mean by that?"

She also seemed to realize a very frightening possibility, though she found it hard to believe.

Luo Yu continued, "If there isn't the support of a fully awakened god, just a single power wouldn't threaten Our Great Xia."

"They would need to join forces, secretly plotting against us to have that kind of strength."

As Bai Xiao'e and Zhen Fu'er heard Luo Yu's speculation, they felt a chill down their spines, while a special glint passed through their beautiful eyes.

They hadn't expected Luo Yu to react so swiftly.

Just from the little information available, he had deduced so much.

"Such a pity," Luo Yu lamented as he looked toward the Bagua Bronze Mirror. It was regrettable that such a Divine Artifact could only be used once every three months to predict crucial information.

Waiting for three months would be too late; the situation would have already cooled down.

"Thank you for your hard work," Luo Yu said to the Artifact Spirit.

The Artifact Spirit was flattered, "In times of great turmoil, none are spared, but serving my master is my honor."

Luo Yu shook his head.

Indifferent to its flattery, he raised his hand to take back the Bagua Bronze Mirror, and the surrounding scene changed abruptly, returning to normal.

Bai Xiao'e couldn't stop marveling at the Magical Treasure, which had created an environment so realistic it could fool anyone.

Luo Yu walked forward, "Let's go and see what exactly is in this heavily guarded main chamber."

The two women quickly followed, filled with curiosity.

If the mirror guarding the main chamber was already such a treasure, how extravagant could the identity of the tomb's owner and the accompanying artifacts be?

As the group continued along the dark corridor, they soon saw a huge stone door before them. To their astonishment, they found that the construction of the main chamber's door was exactly as depicted in the Artifact Spirit's illusion, with only two recessed handles.

"This is terrible, my Spiritual Power has disappeared, what's going on?" Bai Xiao'e cried out in alarm first.

Zhen Fu'er frowned, "I also can't use my power."

Luo Yu also noticed this issue; it was as if an unknown force was present around them, preventing the normal circulation of Spiritual Power in their bodies.

Their fighting ability was significantly reduced.

"Tong Tong, is there something here affecting us?" Luo Yu asked.

A puzzled voice came from the mirror, "Master, I have no idea."

"Always three questions and no answers, what use are you," Luo Yu retorted.

He took a few steps back with the two women and realized that once they moved more than two hundred meters away from the stone door, their Spiritual Power could circulate freely again.

"What kind of sorcery is this?"

"No issues if we don't get close?"

"Such an amazing method, able to suppress a person's power without them noticing," Bai Xiao'e observed carefully.

The corridor walls ahead could subtly absorb light, shrouded in darkness, while the walls around the stone door emitted a dim glow.

Luo Yu said, "Let's try going over again."

"Going there without Spiritual Power is too dangerous if a real problem arises inside," Zhen Fu'er warned.

Luo Yu shook his head, holding the opposite view.

"Have you noticed? The corridors leading to the side chambers are filled with deadly traps and poisonous insects, but this main chamber, even more mysterious, doesn't seem to harbor serious killing intent."
