The most surprising moment of Asmodeus's life might be right now, he sat at a cosy table, after being convinced by the plump merchant to stay at his private home to avoid issues while here. To his surprise, the merchant wasn't arrogant and turned out to be quite genuine and kind, which is why he was angry...
His wife.
A rare rabbit beastkin, with curvy hips and a more homely beauty than the one Asmodeus might see daily, the slight wrinkles at the corner of her eyes, and a smile that could probably charm a room of men.
Yet she was devoted to the small merchant.
"Dear, you shouldn't brag when in front of guests, look..." She wiped his cheek, the gravy from the meat dripping slightly, but her face was delighted.
The merchant turned red and chuckled awkwardly. "Sorry." He muttered like a kid. "I just wanted to impress our esteemed guest."
