Wei Anning took the documents, walked over to the copier, and started making copies. While waiting, she sized up the group. The core team had five members, one woman and four men—a stark imbalance favoring the men.
Each of the five had a distinct personality. Take the glasses guy, for instance—his desk was an utter mess, with design drafts scattered everywhere, and he wouldn't let anyone help tidy it up.
The poised man's desk, on the other hand, was much more organized. There was even a green potted plant next to his computer, along with a few cans of instant coffee. As for the other two men, one was a kind-looking middle-aged man, probably around forty, while the other appeared to be in his early thirties, dressed in an impeccably tailored and expensive suit, exuding refinement in every detail.
