"We're fine, Dad, you've lost weight," Jian Shichu walked over, exchanged a few words with Jian Rang, and bent down to look at Shi Qingning lying in bed, "Mom, how do you feel?"
"I'm alright," Shi Qingning showed a faint smile, "Why did you come? I just realized, I've been asleep for so long. Did I scare you both?"
Shi Qingning's face was terribly pale, her voice weak and listless. Jian Shichu's heart felt another pang as if he wished he could immediately capture the culprits and tear them to pieces!
"Ah Chu, don't worry," Jian Rang feared his son would be anxious and patted his shoulder to comfort him, "The doctor just conducted a full check-up on your mom. Her health is quite good, and she'll be fine after resting for a few days with no aftereffects. So please don't worry."
Jian Shichu nodded in cooperation, "I understand, Dad. You don't need to worry either. Seeing Mom in good spirits, she'll recover."
The father and son consoled each other, but felt deeply distressed inside.
