"Why am I... crying?"
It seemed to be more than just that; a faint pain lingered in her heart, growing more intense, to the point that it made Kong Zhaozhao feel unsteady, kneeling on the ground, clutching her chest, and wailing loudly.
"Lu Chuan! Why!"
Clearly, she didn't know him, had never even seen him before, so why was she feeling sorrow, even despair, over his plight?
"Wait... I think I've seen him somewhere."
Kong Zhaozhao looked up as blurry memories surfaced in her mind, like a veil of mist clouding her vision, she desperately tried to see clearly, but the mist refused to disperse.
"Little Frost Peak... Lake Heart Pavilion."
Kong Zhaozhao forced herself to endure the heartache and struggled to stand, stumbling step by step out of the Heavenly Prison.
She was eager to return to Little Frost Peak, to return to Lake Heart Pavilion.
It seemed that only by going there would she be able to untangle the confusion in her heart.
