In the chaos, injuring rather than killing is undoubtedly a more effective tactic.
When the gunfire erupted, Yang Yi could openly flee in all directions—he couldn't stay and take the bullets, right? But Anton had some issues, as he was being escorted away by at least four people, unless Black Devil could immediately kill the four people around him.
However, Anton could also be killed, which was evidently not something Black Devil wanted to see.
So, after the shooting, Anton did two things.
"Protect me! They're trying to silence me!"
