MC POV
The village was mostly built from stone and other types of rock.
It was relatively large. I stayed atop a tree while sending out my bees to gather information.
A few minutes later, I had acquired a basic understanding of the place—which made me frown.
This society was heavily influenced by a faith in some so-called god, but that belief had fostered a system rooted in slavery.
Many of the citizens were slaves, treated no differently than objects.
Upon closer observation, however, it resembled more of a servitude system, akin to ancient Egyptian culture—a very particular form of slavery.
To a certain extent, I expected this, given that these lands seemed governed by the dominance of a superior force.
And when religion enters the picture, it tends to amplify such dogmas even more.
I sighed and chose not to dwell on it. The future of this place would be shaped by its leader, Ka-Zar.
At least in his village, things seemed somewhat more fair and balanced.
