Clumps of air made flesh wearing yellow and white leotards all with numerical numbers appeared. The source unknown all that was known was this entity was one of the same and only by the name of Everywhere Man.
In front of the mysterious foe another ball of science fiction took form of a battery. Buzzshock. An electric based alien with the body of a living battery and green eyes similar to the Omnitrix's brilliant glow.
This alien currently was firing off enteric attacks after the other losing the count of how many enemies after the fiftieth. The once expansive common room of LexCorp now became a small room that was simply a fourth of what it used to be as the numbers wouldn't stop.
"Come on!! When does it stop!!" Spoke Buzzshock with a hint of desperation causing an unseeable smile to form on Everywhere Man's face. "There is no stopping the Everywhere Man."
This sounded like a taunt but in fact was a claim stating what was being proven true. Identical copies of Everywhere Man began to double with each passing making a stir crazy Buzzshock zoom around the room with green electrical sparks emitting from his feet.
Zooming around like a looney tune Buzzshock avoided capture each time Everywhere Man plotted to take him, but due to the blinding speed of Buzzshock electrical currant came to no such achievement.
"You are making this ever so tiring!" Everywhere Man spoke hinting his words with venom that stretched farther than the boundaries between them.
"Aw somebody not like long distance? Then again!" Starting off as a taunt of his own Buzzshock quickly by jet propulsion zigzagged around several of the duplicates of Everywhere Man. "Short distance I prefer!"
Through the zooming and zagging Buzzshock noticed that the Everywhere men have only appeared from one direction and throughout his entire fight hasn't spotted the number 1.
This could be because of the overwhelming number of them but Buzzshock AKA Shift trusted his gut zooming further until he spotted something very peculiar. The Everywhere Man modeled one was wearing the original outfit with the exception of a steel belt around his waist.
Masked with buttons along the belt unknown to what they could do Buzzshock dove further seeing the chance of victory firing an electrical burst hoping to decompress the amount of numbers against him all in one fell swoop.
"Huh?" Confused by a sudden tug Buzzshock looked towards his stub of a leg and foot finding an orange and white leotard with the number five on its face. Number five had formed a pyramid after taking note of Buzzshock's irregular flight patterns.
"We have you now!" Screamed Number Five as the other Everywhere Men helped pull down the target. Buzzshock attempted to break free through his electrical conduction and tried to fry number Five off. He was successful but that was what was predicted causing another number to grab him and continue to anchor the flying battery.
Now number 21 pulled Buzzshock down with his right dominant hand while his other hand the left held a steel syringe that already had red blood in its container.
Buzzshock seeing the syringe instantly recalled the sharp pain he felt while in human form. 'Why do they? Wait!' First doubtful and then sure of himself. Shift realized this attack was a cover he was the real target.
Everywhere Man noticed the realization on Buzzshocks face and utilized his opponents distraction and stabbed the stub with the syringe while pulling him downward. The pain was sharp for a moment but once dragged down the pain worsened as Buzzshocks blood left him.
Feeling drained Buzzshocks electrical currant that provided flight dimmed and began to shrink. Feeling his victory was assured Everywhere Man began to cackle with vigor until a sound of debris spoke louder than the cackling itself.
Cracks formed from above and shortly after four figures fell from the celling. Covered by the falling debris Artemis saw the enormous amounts of foes and then saw an alien in the shape of an animated power battery.
"Shift!!" Megan hearing her comrade call out followed her glance spotting the living battery as his life began to diminish rapidly.
"No!!!" With a thought of friendship and rage Megan's eyes glowed bright green as Buzzshock was dragged out of the Everywhere Man's steady grip.
"No!!!!" Cried Everywhere Man as he was knocked off causing his pyramid to topple and become cushions for the other two drop ins. Cheshire and Artemis father Sportsmaster.
Megan after saving Buzzshock swiftly saved Artemis with her telekinesis and used the very same ability to levitate herself from the ground.
Artemis seeing the drained battery asked "What happened!!" Worry etched on her face as her other 'undefined' was seemingly losing his life force. "The target..." Buzzshock speaking in a charcoal of his original self spoke without his cackle began speaking only for the sounds of the debris to cloud it.
Both woman however after seeing the state Shift/Buzzshock was in and the Syringe in the Everywhere Mans hand filled the lines.
Knowing the villains true goals Artemis and Miss Martian once grounded began to form around Buzzshock forming a shield. "Wait. Why'd y'all fall from the ceiling?"
Shift as Buzzshock wanted to question this dilemma but couldn't voice out as the pain seemed to continue and oddly worsen after the syringe was forcibly removed.
Once the debris stopped momentarily the fight continued. Arrows and other throwable objects filled the air, telekinetic waves were fired, muttering clones were created.
Buzzshock was the only one inactive almost drained by that army comprised of the Everywhere Man.
Files and files of men formed adding on to the enemy side causing their strength to become more enhanced with every second. Both Artemis and Miss Martian at first were complacent now are being overwhelmed by the sheer numbers.
Sportsmaster and Cheshire began their own assault attempting one upon the downed Buzzshock while elsewhere inside the syringe a combination of both bloods lushed together and from its constant shaking and mixing a small set of green eyes and black began to form.
