The next day, after an epic training session with his wives, Ash was ready to focus on the one thing he'd put on hold: seriously training Krabby. Frankly, he had been more focused on leveling up his team to the fullest, but Krabby was on the verge of evolution due to the Experience Ball it held. It was very close to evolving, and Ash was thinking about which Pokémon he should let battle with Krabby to make it evolve. Suddenly, he got a message from his system.

[Ding! Mission Triggered: Fight and Catch the Giant Onix in the Island's Hidden Cove Using Krabby]

Task: Battle and catch the Giant Onix in the island's Hidden Cove using Krabby.

Rewards: Top-Grade Mystic Water x1, Intermediate Rare Candy x5, Black Augurite x1, Malicious Armor x1

Description:

Black Augurite: The Black Augurite (Japanese: くろのきせき Black Augite) is an item that allows Scyther to evolve into Kleavor.

Malicious Armor: The Malicious Armor (Japanese: ノロイノヨロイ Cursed Armor) is an item that allows Charcadet to evolve into Ceruledge.

Ash whistled upon seeing the mission's rewards, but he knew little about the Gen Nine Pokémon. Still, he was confident he could manage. Regarding the mission, the Giant Onix, which Ash and his friends encountered in the anime, was later captured by Bruno of the Kanto Elite Four. It would be a great addition to his team, and he was certain it was drawn to his plot armor in the anime. For clarification, Bruno had waited months to catch the Onix, but it didn't show up for him until Ash arrived. It miraculously appeared in front of him, likely due to Ash's protagonist aura. Otherwise, why couldn't Bruno catch the Onix he'd been waiting for near Mt. Hideaway for months? This isn't canon, and Ash isn't a charity case who lets others catch his prey like the canon Ash, so he won't let Bruno take his prize due to naivety.

Ash gathered his wives—Misty, Sabrina, and Cynthia—on the sandy clearing of their private island, the ocean's breeze carrying a hint of salt and adventure. "Alright, girls, it's time to head back to Pallet Town," he announced, scratching the back of his head under his cap. He was certain his mom, Delia Ketchum, was waiting for him with her legendary divine-grade flip-flop, ready to deliver a scolding for disappearing with his wives for two days without a single call. In his reincarnated mind, Ash could already picture Delia donning an oni mask, wielding an EX-grade flip-flop that could give even his psychic-enhanced self a serious concussion. The thought sent a shiver down his spine, and his nervous expression made his wives burst into laughter.

"Oh, the great Ash Ketchum is freaking out because he didn't tell his mommy? How cute!" Misty teased, her cerulean hair bouncing as she smirked, causing Ash to pout at her.

"Yoshi, yoshi, dear, don't pout," Cynthia cooed, petting his head as he buried his face in her comforting embrace. "We'll explain to your mother-in-law about our training, so she'll lessen your punishment."

"Humph, you girls are bullying me now," Ash grumbled, lifting his head. "At least Sabrina's supporting me!" He turned to Sabrina, expecting her usual serene support, only to find her blushing, eyes sparkling as she snapped photos of him with a camera. The sight of her fangirling over his flustered state made the atmosphere light and comedic, the island's tropical air feeling fresher than ever.

After enduring his wives' playful mischief, Ash and the girls packed their belongings, ready to return to Pallet Town. They called out their flying Pokémon, their wings casting shadows over the beach as they prepared to soar back home, the promise of Delia's flip-flop looming like a hilarious storm on the horizon.

Ash and his wives—Misty, Sabrina, and Cynthia—returned to Pallet Town, the familiar sight of its rolling hills and quaint houses a stark contrast to the wild energy of their private island. Ash's heart pounded as he steeled himself, his reincarnated mind flashing with visions of his mother's wrath. He'd been gone for two days without a call, and Delia Ketchum's divine-grade flip-flop was no myth—it was a force of nature. Taking a deep breath, he pushed open the door to his childhood home, only to be met with a flying flip-flop that zoomed like a heat-seeking missile. Even his psychic-enhanced reflexes couldn't dodge it, and the *thwack* echoed as it struck his forehead. Pikachu, Eevee, and Togepi, watching from the sidelines, raised tiny scoreboards reading "KO!" as Ash collapsed, eyes swirling and smoke curling from the bump on his head.

Scene Change: Dinner Time

Later that evening, Ash sat at the dining table, nursing a massive bump on his head, wincing with every movement. Across from him, Delia chatted happily with Misty, Sabrina, and Cynthia, their voices a lively hum as they discussed who-knows-what—probably his misadventures, judging by their occasional giggles. Brock, ever the culinary maestro, was locked in a *Shokugeki*-style showdown with Mr. Mime, the two whipping up dishes with flair, the kitchen alive with the clatter of pans and the aroma of sizzling food. Pikachu, Eevee, Ember his little sister sat eagerly at the table's edge, ready to judge the culinary battle with discerning tastes.

Ash's house, once a quiet haven for just him and Delia, buzzed with life. The laughter, the clinking of plates, the Pokémon's chatter—it was a symphony of warmth that filled the air. Ash caught his mother's satisfied, happy smile, her eyes crinkling with joy as she watched her expanded family. The sight warmed his reincarnated heart, his own smile spreading despite the throbbing bump. This was home—not just a place, but a feeling, brought to life by the people and Pokémon he loved.

---------------------------------The Next Day--------------------------------------------------------

The morning after the lively dinner at the Ketchum household, Ash woke with a throbbing bump on his head, courtesy of Delia's divine-grade flip-flop. The memory of Pikachu, Eevee, and Togepi's "KO!" scoreboards still stung, but the warmth of his mother's smile and the chatter of his wives—Misty, Sabrina, and Cynthia—filled his reincarnated heart with resolve. His little sister Ember's excited giggles and Brock's culinary showdown with Mr. Mime had transformed their quiet Pallet Town home into a bustling haven. Today, Ash's focus was laser-sharp: the system's mission to evolve Krabby and catch the Giant Onix at Mt. Hideaway was calling, and his protagonist aura was ready to answer.

Gathering his crew in the front yard, Ash grinned, adjusting his cap. "Alright, gang, we're heading to Mt. Hideaway! Krabby's evolving today, and I'm catching a legend for the team!" Misty smirked, tossing her cerulean ponytail. "Better not get another flip-flop out there, champ." Sabrina's eyes twinkled as she snapped a photo of Ash's determined pose, her camera ever-present. Cynthia crossed her arms, her champion aura radiant. "Make it legendary, Ash." Ember bounced, clutching her Charmander plush, while Brock nodded, dreaming of Elite Four secrets and new recipes.

The trek to Mt. Hideaway, just beyond Pallet's rolling hills, was brisk, the air growing crisp as they neared the mist-shrouded peaks. Ash's system mission pulsed in his mind: battle and catch the Giant Onix using Krabby, with rewards like Mystic Water and Gen Nine evolution items at stake. His reincarnated soul buzzed, his aura crackling. "This is gonna be epic," he muttered, gripping Krabby's Poké Ball.

As they reached the craggy slopes, the ground quaked. A herd of Onix burst from the cliffs, their stone bodies slithering at breakneck speed. Ash braced for a fight, but the Onix weren't attacking—they were fleeing, their roars laced with panic. "Something's got them spooked," Sabrina murmured, her psychic senses flaring. Misty scanned the horizon, eyes narrowing. "Whatever it is, it's huge." Cynthia's gaze sharpened. "Stay sharp."

A hulking figure emerged from the mist—Bruno, the Kanto Elite Four's powerhouse. His eyes widened at Cynthia, the Sinnoh Champion, among teenagers and a kid. "Cynthia? What're you doing in Kanto?" he asked, gruffly.

Cynthia's reply was icy, her presence chilling. "None of your business, Bruno." Her tone made him flinch, his bravado faltering.

Brock went full fanboy, rushing forward. "Bruno! Elite Four legend! Share your training secrets!" Bruno waved him off, chuckling. "I'm here for a Giant Onix. Been tracking it for months."

Ash's ears perked, his grin sly. "Funny, I'm after that same Onix." His wives smirked, Ember hugged her plush tighter, eyes wide.

Bruno sized up Ash, laughing. "You? Chasing that beast?" Ash held up Krabby's Poké Ball. "Just Krabby. It's enough." Bruno roared with laughter. "A Krabby? Against that monster?"

Misty's eyes flashed, Sabrina's aura pulsed, and Cynthia's smirk sharpened. "Big mistake laughing at Ash," Misty muttered, cracking her knuckles. Sabrina's camera clicked, capturing Ash's stance, her blush hidden. Cynthia whispered, "Show him, champ." Ember cheered, "Go, big bro!"

Ash locked eyes with Bruno. "Let's make it interesting. Whoever finds the Onix first catches it. If I catch it with Krabby, you owe me a battle." Bruno shrugged, chuckling. "Sure, kid. If you pull that off, I'll battle you."

The group ventured into Mt. Hideaway's Hidden Cove, where cliffs loomed like titans. A deafening roar shook the ground, revealing the Giant Onix, its stone body coiling like a mountain, eyes glowing with fury. But its movements were erratic, its roars pained. Ash's reincarnated senses flared, his aura and psychic powers reaching out. "It's hurt," he said, the camera zooming on his concerned eyes.

The Onix's tail shifted, revealing a Sandslash burrowed into its rocky hide, claws lodged deep. Ash's heart clenched—the Sandslash was outmatched but causing pain. "Hang on, big guy," he murmured, his Viridian mind power surging, green light enveloping his hands. He dislodged the Sandslash with a psychic pulse, catching it in an aura net and setting it free. The Onix's roars softened, gratitude in its eyes. Ash's Viridian power healed its wounds, restoring it to peak condition, the camera capturing his glowing aura like a beacon.

"Alright, buddy," Ash said, gripping Krabby's Poké Ball. "You're healed, so let's have a fair fight. I'm catching you!" The Onix nodded, its head lowering, ready for battle. The camera panned wide, mist swirling, music swelling with epic drums.

Ash released Krabby, the crab snapping its claws, the Experience Ball glowing. "Let's do this, Krabby!" he shouted. The battle erupted, the cove trembling as Krabby faced the towering Onix. With no four-move limit, Krabby unleashed a relentless arsenal: Bubble Beam's torrential blasts hammered Onix's Rock-type weakness, Crabhammer cracked its hide with explosive force, Vice Grip clamped like a vice, and Aqua Jet propelled Krabby like a missile, dodging Rock Slide's boulders. The camera zoomed on Krabby's fierce eyes, its tiny form darting with agility.

Onix retaliated with devastating power: Earthquake shook the cove, Stone Edge launched razor-sharp rocks, Iron Tail swung like a wrecking ball, and Dragon Breath scorched the air. Ash's commands were sharp, his reincarnated mind calculating. "Krabby, Surf!" A massive wave crashed over Onix, dousing its body. "Guillotine!" Krabby's claw glowed, aiming for a one-hit knockout, but Onix's Bind coiled tight, squeezing Krabby. The camera cut to slow-motion, capturing Krabby's struggle, Misty gripping Cynthia's arm, Sabrina's camera clicking, Ember cheering, Brock muttering strategy.

"Krabby, Hyper Beam!" Ash roared. Krabby unleashed a blinding beam, shattering Onix's coils. The crab glowed, its form expanding—evolution triggered. Kingler emerged, its massive claw dwarfing its old form. The camera panned to Ash's grin, his wives cheering, Bruno's jaw dropping. "That's my Kingler!" Ash shouted.

Kingler surged forward, slamming Onix with a supercharged Crabhammer, the impact echoing like thunder. Muddy Water flooded the cove, weakening Onix's defenses, while Metal Claw chipped its hide. Onix countered with Sandstorm, obscuring vision, and Smack Down, pelting Kingler with rocks. Kingler tanked the hits with Protect, retaliating with Scald, the boiling water searing Onix's cracks. The camera swept across the cove, cliffs crumbling, mist swirling, the crowd on edge.

"Kingler, keep it up! Use Stomp!" Kingler's massive claw smashed down, sending shockwaves through Onix's body. Onix roared, unleashing Dig to burrow underground, only to erupt with Rock Blast, pelting Kingler with a barrage. Ash's aura flared, sensing Onix's next move. "Dodge with Agility, then Bubble!" Kingler zipped aside, unleashing a frothy barrage that stung Onix's eyes. The camera zoomed on Kingler's relentless assault, its claws glowing with power.

Onix's rage peaked, its body glowing as it unleashed Heavy Slam, crashing toward Kingler like an avalanche. "Protect, then X-Scissor!" Ash shouted. Kingler's barrier held, then it slashed with crossed claws, carving into Onix's hide. The cove shook, rocks tumbling, the camera capturing slow-motion sparks. Kingler followed with Brine, targeting Onix's weakened state, the salty surge eroding its rocky armor.

The battle stretched on, each side pushing their limits. Onix's Dragon Tail whipped up a vortex, but Kingler countered with Razor Shell, slicing through with precision. "You're tougher than I thought!" Ash called to Onix, grinning. "But we're not done!" Kingler's Flail unleashed a frenzied assault as its stamina waned, each hit stronger than the last. Onix's Stone Edge grazed Kingler, but Ash's command—"Hydro Pump!"—unleashed a torrential blast that sent Onix crashing into the cliff, the camera trembling with the impact.

Kingler panted, its claw raised defiantly. Ash hurled a Poké Ball, the sphere arcing through the mist. It shook once, twice, three times—*click!* The camera zoomed on Ash's triumphant fist pump, his wives rushing to hug him, Ember jumping, Brock clapping. The Poké Ball teleported to Professor Oak's lab, the Giant Onix now Ash's. The system dinged, rewards flashing: Mystic Water, Rare Candies, Black Augurite, Malicious Armor.

Bruno approached, his expression awed. "I underestimated you, kid," he admitted, rubbing his neck. "I shouldn't have laughed at your Krabby. That was a battle for the ages." He glanced at Kingler, snapping its claw proudly. "I owe you a battle."

Ash tipped his cap, grinning. "Name the time, Bruno." His wives beamed, proud of their husband, while the group's laughter echoed over Mt. Hideaway, the mist clearing to reveal a starry sky. This was Ash Ketchum, reincarnated, rewriting destiny with every epic clash, his family by his side, stronger than ever.
