Wang Tao's face was serious as he spoke.
"I'll try!" Bishop suddenly felt a bit nervous. "Right, you should give it a try too. Maybe you have a knack for convincing them?"
"Alright."
Wang Tao didn't think he could persuade these believers, but with just a few hours left before the sacrifice ended, if he did nothing, even with his strong mental fortitude, he'd feel really anxious.
The bishop gathered the remaining believers and, looking at the dense crowd, he shouted to do some mental work. Many responded to him, but very few could successfully sacrifice. After all, the conditions for this sacrifice were too harsh; there couldn't be a hint of unwillingness in one's mind. If even a trace of doubt or hesitation lingered, it would be impossible to succeed in the sacrifice.
Wang Tao watched the slow increase in sacrifice numbers and silently sighed. At the bishop's current rate, it seemed hopeless. But Wang Tao hadn't completely lost hope; what if a miracle happened?
