Chapter 21 - Chapter 13 edit

Poseidon fled, a streak of blue energy like a comet vanishing into the divine relam.Yet the silence he left behind felt louder than thunder.

Deep Sea Demonic Whale King in his beast form, the creature's body dominates the water column like a moving land‑mass, its length easily rivaling a small island's breadth.

Broad, hump‑backed profile tapering to a powerful tail; overall outline resembles an armored leviathan more than a gentle whale.

Abyssal black with a wet, stone‑like sheen, as though carved from volcanic basalt.

Lava‑vein glow: fissures spider across the head, back, and pectoral fins, pulsing molten‑red‑orange. The light flickers rhythmically, suggesting the beat of an inner core rather than random bioluminescence.

Overlapping ridges of chitinous armor run along the spine and flanks, each rimmed by faint crimson edges that look half‑melted.

Blunt, colossal skull—wider than it is long, giving a battering‑ram impression. The top of the head is pocked with hexagonal pits, each glowing like magma vents. These recesses create a honeycomb pattern that radiates heat‑light.

Eyes are set deep beneath armored ridges, glimmering a dim sapphire, almost lost amid the lava glow. Maw is a jagged, nearly vertical split lined with saw‑tooth plates rather than individual teeth; when it gapes, the plates separate like serrated shutters, hinting at a gulp‑and‑shear feeding style.

Pectoral fins are broad but ragged, edges torn into spines that act as both stabilizers and slash weapons. Lava veins lace each fin, the red lines brightest along the leading edges.

Dorsal spurs are a trio of blade‑like fins rear from its back, angled like dorsal swords; they glow faintly at the base, fading to black tips.

Barbed tendrils beneath the jaw hang several whip‑thin feelers, each ending in needle points—likely sensory organs that double as impaling weapons.

Tail is massive and jutting with serrated rims; every tail‑beat would create whirlpool troughs and thunderclap booms underwater.

Central ridge is raised, glowing spine bisects the tail vertically, channeling biothermal energy toward the flukes for explosive bursts of speed.

He was lurking far below, witnessed it all. He saw Bo Saixi now had even more powerful Martial Soul, Kyogre's phantom suppressed him even at that distance; Zhongli's lotus had erased a god‑made tsunami as if swatting a fly.

Perhaps an alliance with them will serve the deep far better than fear of Poseidon,

the ancient whale King mused, sinking back into the sea to ponder.

Up on Sea God Island the Seven Pillar Guardians struggled with a darker revelation:

Zhongli had shared visions of the coming 30 000 years—Poseidon's manipulations, Tang San's rise, the culling of spirit‑beast clans, the condemnation of the island's own children.

Hai Long, Sea Dragon Douluo clenched his fist. "We were just pawns."

Sea Horse Douluo—usually laconic—lifted his gaze. "We cannot serve a god who tries to drown his own temple."

One by one, the Guardians lowered their eyes as Zhongli's visions of Tang San faded from the air like dying embers. The weight of what they had witnessed—massacred clans, secret puppeteering, futures bent to one man's will—pressed on their chests like iron weights.

Xiao Bai's nails dug crescents into her palms. She heard again the screams of her pod, felt the cold hush when she discovered her child was the only one left alive—then saw Tang San's smile in the vision, the puppet strings he'd wrapped around her fate. A low growl rumbled in her throat, half beast, half grief.

The others caught it and flinched; every Guardian wore the same storm‑cloud expression now, as if the very light of the Sea Temple had dimmed.

Sea Spear Douluo spoke up."The God Pillars… they're gone. Every one of them."

Panic rippled—without the pillars the island's seabed might quake, currents run wild, pilgrim beasts lose their beacon.

"Your island will remain safe," Zhongli promised.

A ripple of black‑blue energy flashed beneath everyone's feet—space folded—and in the blink of an eye Zhongli, Bo Saixi, the Seven Guardians, and Xiao Bai stood at the marble fore‑court of the Sea Temple, heart of the island.

For an instant the change in scenery left them swaying, but awe quickly eclipsed vertigo.

Zhongli lifted his palm.

From sheer emptiness crystals condensed, tessellating in mid‑air until they shaped a tiered fountain. Rainbow‑veiled water erupted from its core, cascading over prismatic facets that caught every torch‑flame and moonbeam, painting the temple walls in shifting auroras.

A sweeping azure pulse rolled outward.

All across Sea God Island skin tingled, meridians thrummed, spirits howled in joy.

Bo Saixi felt Kyogre's roar answer inside her chest.

The Seven Pillar Guardians straightened as their ranks leapt two full levels.

Even villagers on distant reefs paused, marveling at the sudden warmth in their veins.

High above, a sapphire barrier arced from horizon to horizon—clear as blown glass yet dense with runic glyphs. It shimmered, then locked into place around the entire archipelago.

"The Sea Crown," Zhongli announced, voice steady but ringing across the colonnades.

"No Demonic Orca, no god, may trespass while its light stands. You increase the length, if you wish."

He was not done.

A second gesture, and another shape formed—smaller, denser: a flawless orb whose facets refracted starlight into living waves. It hovered just above his palm, humming with primordial tide‑song.

Every water‑aligned spirit in the chamber surged at its call.

"This is the Sea Orb—it is ocean's physical manifestation," Zhongli said.

"Where the vanished God Pillars once calmed tides, the orb will now govern.

Injured sea‑beasts can seek its shore for healing; those who are at end of there lives may come here to die in peace, the orb is afterlife for them."

As if to confirm his words, the orb flared—white brilliance etched with a single glowing α. A fresh wave of vitality coursed through everyone present; their water‑type skills answered with sudden, effortless clarity.

Bo Saixi felt a special link with her martial spirit, Zhongli looked at her and said."You can feel it, this will boost your powers to relam of gods. So you don't need me all the time."

Bo Saixi looked at orb in awe.

Zhongli turned to Xiao Bai, his amber eyes softening.

"Now," he murmured, "something you have longed for."

A hush fell.

Pale, ghost‑white fire blossomed in his palm—no heat, only gentle luminance. He bent, touching the marble with a fingertip. The flames spilled outward in a slow whirl, painting a circle of light upon the stone.

Within that ring, shape coalesced: first a flicker of silhouette, then bones of living fire, and finally flesh—black‑and‑white hair falling over a familiar face, crimson eyes opening as though waking from a dream.

Xiao Bai's breath caught in her throat.

"X‑Xiao Wen…"

Her voice was scarcely a whisper, yet it echoed beneath the soaring vaults.

The young man blinked, confused, ember‑flame still twining around his shoulders like translucent ribbons. He looked up just as Xiao Bai crossed the distance in a single tear‑blurred bound.

She crushed him to her chest, fingers trembling against the fabric of his tunic, half afraid he would dissolve if she let go.

Xiao Wen's arms slowly wrapped around her. "Sister…? What… happened?"

His voice was hoarse, as if unused for years. He glanced past her at the temple, the Guardians, the rainbow fountain. "Am I… Are we dead?"

Xiao Bai laughed through the tears, shaking her head so hard her snowy hair whipped around them both."No. No, little tide. You're alive. You're home."

She cupped his cheeks, searching for even the faintest hint of illusion—but warm skin met her palms, steady heartbeat thrummed beneath her fingers.

Behind them, the Guardians watched in stunned silence. Even hardened Hai Long wiped moisture from one eye. Bo Saixi pressed a hand to her lips, whispering gratitude to whatever higher power Zhongli represented now.

Zhongli merely inclined his head, letting the reunion breathe. The ghost‑flames faded, leaving Xiao Wen whole beneath the moon.

All the Guardians bowed there heads in awe.

Xiao Bai turned, still holding her brother, and bowed—low, deep, every strand of white hair sweeping the floor."For this gift, Lord Zhongli… the Demon Soul Great White Sharks will remember your name for ten thousand tides."

Bo Saixi knelt—not in subservience but in solemn vow."From this day forward, I—and the Sea God Island—swear loyalty not to chains, but to the sea itself… and to the one who freed us."

The Guardians echoed her, palms over hearts. Even Xiao Bai bowed her snowy head."Sea God Island stands—because you willed it, Lord Zhongli. We the Demon great White Shark clan will guard the crown and orb with our lives."

Zhongli smiled and answered."Then work hard."

[A/N:Now soon we will start with teaching Chen Xin, then Gu Rong, Lao gao and Dugu Bo. Along with creation of Spirit Pagoda and Tower. Also shoul I give the Sea Gurdians some other Martial spirits.]
