My wings unfolded majestically behind me.
The screen flickered and I could see him staggering backwards.
The two Eternals by his side also came into my view for a split second before the screen turned black.
Aimar coughed as my wings folded fully. "You need help?"
"How are you—."
He opened a portal before I could complete my sentence.
"I tracked the spear you threw." He replied, smiling. "Aren't I a genius?"
"Stupid fuck." I grumpily said, walking inside the portal.
'Man, I wanted to show off my speed to him.'
Though regretful, there was nothing I could do about it.
The portal opened up to a large room that was shaped like a dome.
There was a staircase that ran around the place with a few more different items all around.
The room we stepped into was dimly lit, with soft blue lights running along the edges.
And….
At the very centre were eight people scrambling to open a portal.
Vanadis was one of them.
