We stood on opposing sides of the field between the capital of Selethon and the forest.
Our auras shone with a grim purpose.

He smiled and dashed forward, clashing with me. His skin began a red glow. His power echoed as he enabled the Supreme light.
Of course, I wasn't a supreme being, but I wasn't far from.
My golden glow appeared, runes shining over my body.
This one was a lot more suited to this level of power than my old one.

This made his brow raise.

My power shot forth like a raging inferno. He blocked and slashed at me, but I leapt up and shone like the north star.
This world was mine. And I still had the 57% boost from Luma and Sona, plus the 50% boost from my world mother skill.
Me and him were equals.
His light was mine… but twisted.
His wings, instead of metal, were obsidian. His blonde hair now had black and red trails. He had cracks along his face, showing me that his body was unsuitable for his new power.
His skin was paler than usual, and he was breathing heavily.
The red light seemed to carve out his skin, as opposed to mine, which just shone on the skin.

I was not going to kill him while he's in this bad of a state. It would leave a bad taste in my mouth.
[Don't be foolish, I am still far stronger than you.]
He launched me back, then he kicked my spine. I heard the crack reverberate.
I stood up and dodged his next attack.

I released the full extent of my power. Everything shook.
Lucifer's body began to crumble. Then he willed it back to wholeness.
He launched at me, kicking my gut and launching me into the air.
He shot up to kill me with his blade, but I drew mine and blocked.

I snickered.

He dashed and struck, but I dodged and slashed back. He dodged just as easily.
We were too fast for each other. We dodged every single movement. It was almost as though this was an advanced dance.
He struck low, and I flipped over him, slicing down. He then would dodge to the right and slash up, to which I would do an air jump to the side, fully avoiding his strike.
Try as we might, we were unable to hit the other.

Of course, the joke fell down as his aura shone and Pandora began to crack.

I stood to his power, and I released my full aura as well. Us merely standing caused the world to shudder. Then we began circling, and the world shook more and more.

He roared and launched back. Then, in his hand, formed an obsidian blade.

We launched, his blade cutting my flesh. As I shone, he struck harder and faster, causing my blood to shoot out in dark red spurts, but my own blade wasn't waiting.
It shot forward like a starving serpent. Sliding directly into the seraphim's gut. He groaned like Eglon.
His glowing blood fell to the earth. More proof that his body was not ready for supremacy.
He struck with the ferocity of a lion.
I flew back and shone before spinning and diving at him, slicing his hand from his body.
He roared, shaking the world, despite the level ups.
