ROSALIE'S POV

I've been alive a long time, but nothing compares to the kind of nerves I'm feeling today. I'm a literal immortal—indestructible, timeless, flawless (not to brag)—but proposing? That's a whole other level of pressure. And doing it for Robin, my soulmate? It feels like jumping off a cliff without knowing if you'll land on water or rock.

But it's time. I've had decades to think, process, and grow. I've faced my past mistakes, wallowed in them, and then decided to do something about it. I've kept her waiting too long. We've been apart too long. No more running, no more distractions. This is it.

Alice, naturally, took over. The woman's a tiny control freak, but for once, I didn't argue. I couldn't have done this without her. She coordinated everything. The venue, the family, the outfits. The woman even assigned everyone "roles." Like we were staging a Broadway production.

"Okay, Rosalie, you're the star. Try not to freak out and ruin the moment," Alice said while fluffing my hair.

I glared at her. "I don't freak out."

She smirked. "You will. Robin has that effect on you."

Annoyingly, she wasn't wrong.

While Alice and I planned the ultimate proposal, the others were tasked with Operation Distract Robin. The whole female squad—Esme, Tanya, NJ (Marilyn Monroe to the humans), Carmen, Kate, and Irina—descended on Volterra. Even Jane and Alec were in on it. Apparently, their mission was to keep Robin so occupied she wouldn't suspect a thing.

Esme gave me a reassuring hug before they left. "She'll never see it coming."

Meanwhile, Tanya just grinned. "If Robin finds out, blame NJ. She's terrible at keeping secrets."

I chose France for the proposal because… well, it's France. The country of love, romance, and over-the-top dramatics. Perfect for Robin and me. Alice found an ancient chateau outside Paris that looked like it belonged in a fairytale. Ivy-covered walls, candlelit halls, and a garden that practically screamed, "Propose here, Rosalie!"

Alice, of course, was thrilled. "This is so extra. Robin's going to love it."

I rolled my eyes but secretly agreed. Robin's a sucker for anything dramatic.

By the time Robin arrived, everything was in place. Alice had outdone herself. Candles lined the pathways. Twinkling lights hung from the trees. A soft breeze carried the scent of roses, and somewhere in the distance, classical music played. It was romantic enough to make even Edward gag.

When Robin stepped into the garden, she looked… well, she looked like Robin. Effortlessly gorgeous, slightly disheveled, and completely unaware of what was about to happen.

"Hey, Blondie," she said, grinning. "Nice place. Did you rent it just for us?"

I smirked. "Something like that."

She raised an eyebrow, clearly suspicious. "What's the occasion?"

"Can't I just surprise my mate without a reason?" I asked innocently.

She narrowed her eyes. "You're up to something."

I shrugged. "Maybe."

I led her through the garden, trying to keep the butterflies in my stomach from flying out of control. Robin kept glancing at me, probably trying to read my mind or guess what I was planning.

"Seriously, what's going on?" she asked as we reached the center of the garden.

I turned to face her, taking a deep breath. It was now or never.

"Robin Liesha Cullen," I began, my voice steady but my hands trembling. "I've loved you for as long as I've known you. Even when I was too proud or too scared to say it, I loved you. You've been patient with me, more patient than I deserve, and you've made me a better person just by being in my life."

Robin blinked, her grin softening into something more serious. "Rosalie…"

I dropped to one knee, pulling out the ring box Alice had shoved into my hand an hour earlier.

"Will you marry me?" I asked, opening the box to reveal the most dazzling ring I could find—a vintage piece from the 1800s, because Robin deserved nothing less.

For a moment, Robin just stared at me. I could see the shock on her face, the way her mind was racing to process what was happening.

Then, slowly, she smiled.

"Yes," she said, her voice soft but sure. "Of course, yes."

The relief that washed over me was so intense, I almost fell over. But then Robin pulled me to my feet and kissed me, and everything else faded away.

As the family emerged from the shadows, cheering and clapping, Robin turned to me with that mischievous glint in her eye.

"So, Blondie," she said, grinning. "What's next?"

I smirked, leaning closer. "You'll see."

3rd Person POV

France a month after the Proposal

It was a bright, beautiful morning in the French countryside, and Robin Liesha Cullen was blissfully unaware of the chaos brewing around her. She was sprawled across an enormous bed in a guest suite of an ancient chateau, her hair a wild mess, and a soft snore escaping her slightly parted lips.

The night before had been wild. Robin, Isaac, and Emmett had hit the town for one last hurrah. Dancing, singing karaoke, and consuming an ungodly amount of mocktails (on Robin's part)—the night had been a blur of laughter and neon lights. Isaac and Emmett, being vampires, stayed sober and mostly enjoyed her antics, particularly when she tried to reenact Michael Jackson's moonwalk and failed spectacularly.

But now, as the first rays of sunlight poured into the room, Robin's well-earned peace was rudely interrupted.

The door burst open, and Alice strode in, looking far too chipper for someone who had barely slept. She was followed by Esme and NJ, both carrying armfuls of white fabric.

"Up, up, up!" Alice sang, throwing open the curtains with dramatic flair.

Robin groaned, burying her face in the pillow. "Five more minutes…"

"Nope!" Alice said, yanking the blanket off her with the strength of a person who never worried about caffeine. "Today's a big day, darling, and you're the star of the show!"

Robin squinted at her. "What are you talking about?"

Alice just grinned. "You'll see."

Before Robin could protest, NJ and Esme swooped in like an army of stylists on a mission. They sat her down in front of a massive mirror, where a team of professionals seemed to appear out of nowhere.

"What is happening?" Robin asked, eyeing the makeup brushes, hairpins, and suspiciously bridal-looking gown hanging on a nearby rack.

"Just trust us," Esme said, smiling warmly.

NJ leaned in, whispering conspiratorially, "You're going to love it. Just… roll with it."

Robin groaned but complied. Resistance was futile when Alice was involved.

After what felt like hours of primping, Alice finally stepped back, clapping her hands in satisfaction. "Perfect!"

Robin turned to look in the mirror and froze. She barely recognized herself. The woman staring back at her was breathtaking—her hair styled in soft waves, her makeup flawless, and the dress… oh, the dress. It was a masterpiece of lace and silk, perfectly tailored to fit her.

"This is… I…" Robin stammered, her mind racing.

"Gorgeous, right?" Alice said smugly. "Now, let's go!"

Robin was whisked out of the room and down a series of winding hallways, still clueless about what was going on. It wasn't until she stepped outside into the chateau's garden that everything clicked.

The place was transformed into a vision straight out of a fairytale. Rows of chairs lined with flowers faced an altar draped in soft white fabric. A string quartet played softly in the background, accompanied by the gentle hum of nature.

And standing at the end of the aisle was Rosalie, looking more beautiful than Robin had ever seen her, in a gown that glittered like starlight.

Robin froze. Her mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water.

"Surprise!" Isaac said, appearing beside her in a sleek tuxedo.

Robin turned to him, wide-eyed. "Is this…? Are we…?"

Isaac grinned. "It's your wedding day, darling."

As Robin walked down the aisle, arm-in-arm with Carlisle, she spotted familiar faces in the crowd. The entire Cullen family was there, along with the Denali clan and even Jane and Alec, who looked unusually cheerful.

Then there were the other guests. Cher sat in the front row, dabbing her eyes dramatically with a silk handkerchief. Beside her was Freddie Mercury, who gave Robin a cheeky wink.

"Looking fabulous, darling," Freddie called out.

Robin shook her head, trying not to laugh.

When she finally reached the altar, Rosalie stepped forward, taking her hands.

"You look amazing," Rosalie whispered, her golden eyes shining with love.

Robin grinned. "You're not so bad yourself, Blondie."

Before the officiant could start, Freddie and Cher took the stage.

"This one's for the happy couple," Cher said, her voice warm.

They launched into a soulful rendition of At Last by Etta James, their voices blending perfectly. The crowd was mesmerized, and even Robin couldn't help but tear up a little.

"Did you really have to get Freddie and Cher?" Robin whispered to Rosalie.

Rosalie smirked. "Only the best for you."

When it came time to exchange vows, Rosalie spoke first. Her voice was steady, but her words were raw and honest.

"I've made a lot of mistakes in my life," she said, her eyes never leaving Robin's. "But loving you has never been one of them. You've shown me what it means to grow, to be better, and to love without fear. I promise to spend the rest of forever making you as happy as you've made me."

Robin sniffled, blinking back tears. "Damn it, Blondie, you're gonna make me cry."

The crowd chuckled, and Rosalie smirked. "Your turn."

Robin took a deep breath, her usual humor giving way to something softer.

"I've lived a lot of lives," she began. "Seen a lot of things. But nothing, nothing, compares to you. You're my home, my reason, my everything. And if I have to spend the next millennium proving that to you, I will."

When the officiant finally declared them married, Robin didn't wait. She pulled Rosalie in for a kiss, earning cheers and applause from the crowd.

"You're stuck with me now," Robin murmured against her lips.

Rosalie smiled. "I wouldn't have it any other way."

As the newlyweds turned to face their family and friends, Robin couldn't help but laugh. Isaac was dabbing his eyes dramatically, Emmett was whistling loudly, and Alice was already planning the next event.

"Best day ever," Robin said, squeezing Rosalie's hand.

Rosalie smiled. "It's just the beginning."

The day was perfect. Full of love, laughter, and the kind of chaos only their unique family could create. Robin wouldn't have had it any other way.
