Rexy woke up feeling refreshed, with a soft body resting against him. As he looked around, everything was white.
"So, this is heaven... I'm sorry, Talia," he thought.
His gaze fell on the figure using him as a pillow. The first thing he noticed was white hair and fluffy ears.
"What the... Who are you?"
"Your new wife," the woman replied calmly.
"What do you mean?"
"So, you want to abandon me after using my body to comfort yourself?" she teased.
"But I have a wife and children!"
"You mean the pregnant phoenix outside? She accepted my help, but the favor was to marry me."
"No way. Talia would never agree to give her husband to anyone. You must have tricked her."
"I knew she wouldn't accept it easily," the woman admitted. "She was so focused on protecting you, even at the risk of her health and pregnancy. So, I used the favor she owed me, and here we are. And my dear husband, can you feel it? There are two lives growing inside me." She placed his hand on her belly.
"What?!"
Rexy was shocked. He felt a gentle force from her belly, similar to what he had felt from Talia before but never paid attention to. He knew deep down that she was telling the truth, which filled him with dread. How could he explain to Talia that he had impregnated another woman while she was pregnant?
"Don't worry about the phoenix," the woman continued. "She already knows and saw everything. I made sure of that, so no one is to blame."
Another shock hit him. If Talia knew, he had no way to lie to her.
The woman, Claris, stood up, and white, untainted clothes appeared around them as the white plane shattered. They suddenly appeared in front of Talia, who immediately jumped into Rexy's arms, crying and lightly hitting his chest.
"Don't worry, I'm here," he reassured her.
After a while, she pulled herself together and glared at Claris.
"You lied," Talia accused.
"I never lied," Claris replied. "I told you I'd be your sister, but you never objected. Now, why are you against it? Can't you feel the life force within me? You'll soon be an aunt."
"So, you went through with it!" Talia fumed, ready to confront Claris.
"You promised you would only use your hands, but you went all the way while my husband was paralyzed!" Talia snapped.
"Aren't we sisters now?" Claris replied, unfazed.
"You vixen!" Talia hissed.
"Mummy! Look at this cute rabbit!" Casy suddenly interrupted, carrying a white rabbit with a blue moon-shaped mark on its forehead.
"Put it down, now!" Claris shouted, but it was too late.
The blue crescent mark shone brightly, and before anyone could react, it surrounded Rexy, forming a barrier.
"Hey, Claris, what did that bunny do?" Talia asked, concerned.
"She's been hibernating with me here. We're rivals, but since we're the last of our kind, we've been working together to survive and continue our bloodline. But due to their cold nature, they can't mate without risking death. That's what she's trying to do with our husband."
"Then why were you trying to stop her?"
"She's trying to form a pact with him, but I don't want him to have more pacts. Two are enough."
"I've never formed a pact with him," Talia said, confused.
"Maybe not, but he has a marriage pact with a phoenix. Or perhaps he has another phoenix wife other than you. You mentioned another wife, but why is it that he's only been with one woman, and that's you? He's been injected with a lot of hallucinogens."
"But she was pregnant..." Talia began.

"When Judy comes, help husband stabilize her before they find out her plan or realize who she really is. They have a lot of her blood to turn her into a puppet, which would be dangerous for us."
"Also, beat that stupid bunny for me. How could she ignore big sister here?"
"And there she goes," Claris sighed.
