Apollo paused for a brief moment and glanced at him. "You've done well. Rest here."
He turned his gaze forward, the flickering runes of the next floor shimmering with ancient, suppressive power.
A faint smile curled at his lips. "It's getting interesting now."
He once again felt the pressure increase, but what he cared about was slowly and steadily he felt the improvement of his physique and soul. Although the improvement was very slow, still it was improvement, not to mention he still can go on.
Feeling this, he couldn't help but sigh; his home, Rion, is giving him surprises one after another.
Perhaps it was destiny. Perhaps it was a preparation meeting opportunity.
But what he knew for certain was this: Rion still had many secrets left for him to uncover. And he intended to unveil them all.
Without hesitation, he continued forward, climbing to the next floor, the ancient runes glowing brighter as if recognising his resolve.
His ascent showed no signs of slowing.
