Slowly the entire Valley of Beginning seemed to start to tremble. Other geniuses, whether they were from the sanctum or the geniuses from outside, all stopped whatever they were doing.
"What the hell is happening?"
A pressure—vast, invisible, yet suffocating—descended upon the entire valley.
The air thickened, heavy with the weight of ancient battle spirits and forgotten rules. Tombstones cracked and glowed, releasing slivers of ghostly light that danced around Apollo like wandering stars returning to their orbit. It was no longer a matter of resonance with one or two tombs—the valley itself was responding to him.
Even the ground beneath his feet pulsed faintly, as if some ancient formation deep below recognised his presence.
Sara and Clark, awakened from their state, already standing with new divine marks glowing on their foreheads, could only stare in disbelief.
