"This takes us back, doesn't it?"
Hina whispered in a low voice, leaning forward a little as I sat across her.
We were at the company cafeteria. There was a lot to do, but everything would just have to wait before the morning mug of espresso for me - and a cup of Americano for Hina with six spoons of sugar.
"Indeed, Miss."
The cafeteria was rather crowded. Almost all work had stopped today. The current CEO - Jisoo - was being under investigation. Hina, the wacky former CEO slash young heiress was back. Everyone knew things weren't normal. The Chan Group was under possibly one of the greatest crises it had faced in centuries.
People gave us some space though, as our table - including the tables surrounding us - was left empty. All eyes were on us.
I would have preferred to keep ourselves low-profile and hidden in Hina's office until any form of official announcement could be made about her return, but Hina insisted we come down here.
