Wyatt Perry carried Claudia Ross straight into the room and placed her down on the bed.
He lay on his side next to her, gently comforting her, "It's all over now. Don't think too much about it."
"How can I not think about it? Giana was so pitiful."
Not just Giana—Louis and Ding Ding were pitiful too.
One lost his wife, the other lost his mother. Neither of them is doing well.
Wyatt Perry kissed her swollen red eyes and said, "Thinking about it won't change anything. Giana won't come back."
"Just because she won't come back, does that mean I can't think about her? What kind of logic is that?"
Wyatt Perry had only wanted to comfort Claudia Ross, but his words inadvertently made her feel worse.
Boiling with frustration, Claudia Ross snapped, "Giana wasn't someone you were close to, so you can talk about it so lightly. Get out, don't worry about me. I'm going to think about Giana. She and I were twins; we were supposed to be one and the same."
