Su Nian had a bit of soup and rose from the chair, heading upstairs. She only came down during meal times. Most of the time, she stayed in bed, as she could already feel the baby's movements, hence she had to be extra careful.
"Su Nian." She was halted by Zheng Haoyu just after she took two steps.
Su Nian turned her head, "What is it?"
"Don't you want to know about the Su family and Luoz?" Zheng Haoyu stayed seated in his chair, his back towards her. Su Nian couldn't see his expression, nor discern his thoughts.
Su Nian bowed her head, "You want to tell me now?"
"Of course... not." Zheng Haoyu responded with a deep breath.
She had been asking him for days, but each time he refused to say anything and would throw a fit. After a while, she stopped asking. Just as she would expect, people are inherently masochistic, especially men. It's only when you stop seeking them that they start seeking you.
Su Nian turned to leave. If he didn't intend to tell her, was he playing with her?
