"Mi Mi, we're here."
Although they hadn't spoken a word the whole way, somehow today's journey seemed unusually short.
It wasn't until Shen Haoxuan spoke up to let Mi Lu know they'd reached her home that Mi Lu suddenly realized—they'd arrived. Why did it feel so quick today? That was the thought running through Mi Lu's mind.
To be honest, she didn't really want to go home yet; she wanted to spend more time with Shen Haoxuan.
But Mi Lu didn't share her thoughts with Shen Haoxuan. Instead, she opened the car door, ready to get out.
She glanced at Shen Haoxuan, parted her lips as if to speak, but ultimately said nothing. She simply stepped out of the car.
Lingering with a hint of reluctance, she hesitated to close the car door for a long moment. Just as she was about to shut it, Shen Haoxuan suddenly spoke again.
"Mi Mi..."
"Hmm?" Mi Lu's heart leapt with joy. She tilted her head to look at Shen Haoxuan and asked, "What's the matter?"
"Get some rest. Bye!"
