All she felt was shyness. Her face was as red as a tomato, never had it been this red before. Scorchingly hot.
"Do you want me to turn the air conditioning down a bit?" Shen Haoxuan, seeing Mi Lu's face flushed like this, couldn't resist teasing her. "Or maybe we should go grab something cold to drink later. The weather's so hot, something icy sounds nice. What do you think, Mi Mi?"
"No... no need..." Mi Lu stammered, lowering her head and speaking softly, clearly a bit flustered.
Two minutes later, Mi Lu finally realized she had been teased by Shen Haoxuan. "Shen Haoxuan! You did that on purpose!"
"What? Me? How could I do such a thing on purpose?" Shen Haoxuan feigned innocence, then added teasingly, "Mi Mi, are you embarrassed?"
"Of course not! I'm not embarrassed at all!" Mi Lu's voice predictably raised several decibels as she protested.
