"So soon?" Shen Shi looked at her in surprise.
"Mhm… I snuck out during class time." Qingqing smiled at Shen Shi apologetically and said, "I need to be back in Beijing before it gets dark."
"Alright…" Shen Shi looked at the smile on her face, but there was an indescribable bitterness in his heart. "Let me take you."
"No need." Qingqing smiled at Shen Shi, blinking playfully. "The taxi driver who brought me here is still waiting outside the university. I told him I'd only stay for half an hour before heading out again."
"Has it already been half an hour?" Shen Shi felt as though they hadn't spoken much at all. How could the time have passed so quickly?
