Radiating wrath and demonic intent, the shadow emitted no howl, but instead struggled even more furiously. The Relic Pagoda shook violently, as it roared:
"As long as the mortal world is not emptied, I will never attain Buddhahood!"
It had long joined Nirvana, yet one fragment of demonic thought lingered still, now remaining only to annihilate all beings under the heavens, to fulfill its ultimate wish.
However, detached from the flesh, the demonic shadow, though still formidable amid the Buddhist chants, no longer possessed the capability to resist the Relic Pagoda. Amid its roaring, its momentum gradually weakened.
