Under the glimmering golden light of glazed skies in the distance, a colossal three-faced Buddha statue stood—with one hand forming the Fearless Seal, and the other the Wish-Granting Seal.
Its features were incomplete, yet faintly revealed expressions of peace, compassion, and fury.
A dim golden halo encircled its back.
It stood silently amidst the vast, desolate mountains and ravines.
Majestic and eerily quiet.
On either side of the Buddha statue, mountain ranges curved like crescents, while a hollow pit lay before it.
"Before the World-Honored Statue, there should have been a lotus pond. There, Class V Treasure Lotuses were planted. Whenever the lotuses bloomed, Master Xinyuan would order the holding of the 'Lotus Dharma Assembly.' Thousands of Monk Kings and monks from Buddha Kingdoms would travel tens of thousands of miles to attend this grand event... I, an old monk, once had the fortune to witness it, and to this day, cannot forget it."
