Elaina's actions scared the men, so they decided to leave instead of bargaining more. If they had known that the farmer managing the farm itself would be like this, they would not be messing with her like that.
Once the men had left in a hurry, Elaina's children went out of the farmhouse alongside Princess Margaux and Julia. Even the Grand Sage went outside his tower, as he had also observed the situation from below.
