Hogwarts...
DADA Office...
In the quiet sanctum of Leo Morningstar's office,
The fire in the hearth crackled gently, casting a warm, golden glow over the deep oak shelves and ancient books lining the walls.
The room, usually a place of rest and planning, now bore the weight of history in the making.
Sitting across from Leo were two of the most influential wizards of their time—
Albus Dumbledore, wise and contemplative, and Gellert Grindelwald, calm, intense, and sharp-eyed.
"____"
"____"
Despite their vast life experience, both men bore the same look of shock as Leo placed a glass vial filled with a radiant,
Green-gold liquid on the polished desk between them.
"This… is it,"
Leo said with calm confidence.
"The Muggle-to-Wizard Transformation Potion."
Dumbledore leaned in slightly, his blue eyes twinkling less with mirth and more with cautious amazement.
"Leo… we theorised this years ago,"
He murmured.
"But I assumed it was impossible. Magic is not just learned—it's born. It's in the blood."
Grindelwald, however, stared at the potion with an unreadable expression.
"____"
Slowly, he sat back, fingers steepled beneath his chin.
"You said you succeeded."
He said flatly.
"But have you tested it?"
Leo nodded.
Nod~
"Preliminary simulations were successful. Magical compatibility levels spiked dramatically in test environments. But this"—
He gestured to the vial—
"Will be the first live trial. On a real person."
The room fell silent for a moment.
"____"
"____"
"And you're inviting us to witness it?"
Dumbledore asked.
"No,"
Leo said.
"I'm inviting you to witness history."
Both legends looked at each other, then back at the potion.
Dumbledore's fingers gently tapped the desk.
"Leo, you do realise the implications of this? If this works… this could change the magical world's foundation. No more bloodline hierarchies. No more discrimination between Muggle-borns and pure-bloods."
Grindelwald's voice was lower, darker.
"It also threatens everything the old pure-blood families believe in. This will provoke… resistance."
Leo nodded again, this time more solemnly.
Nod~
"Which is why the test will be held privately. At the Morningstar Mansion. You're both invited, of course. I want you to see it with your own eyes. So when the time comes, and the world must choose—you'll know where you stand."
He stood up and gently pushed the vial toward them.
"One week from now. You'll witness what no one else has dared to dream."
As the green liquid shimmered in the soft light, reflecting the faces of the three most powerful wizards of the modern age, it was clear—
The world of magic was on the edge of revolution.
The bell tolled gently through the corridors of Hogwarts, echoing the weight of the times.
A week had passed since the Potter Estate attack, yet the tremors of that violent night still lingered like a bitter chill in the air—
Especially in James Potter's heart.
Defence Against the Dark Arts – 6th Year Class...
The classroom was bustling softly with voices and rustling parchment as Leo Morningstar entered,
Long coat flowing behind him like a trailing shadow.
The chatter died down instantly.
His presence carried weight—
Not from authority alone,
But the aura of a man who had faced death and darkness more times than anyone in the room could count.
Leo scanned the class.
On one side,
Severus Prince sat with his signature stoic expression, flanked by his usual group.
Sirius Black and Remus Lupin exchanged smirks with each other, but their eyes occasionally darted toward the back.
There sat James Potter—
Not the lively, cocky boy most knew him as.
Today, his eyes were dull, sunken.
His posture slouched.
His wand rested limply on his desk. His friends sat close, but none dared speak.
The weight of grief and responsibility was heavy on his shoulders.
Nearby, Lily Evans sat with a few of her friends.
Leo began class without delay.
"Today,"
Leo began, voice calm but firm,
"We face fear itself—Dementors."
A chill swept the room—
Not from real Dementors, but from the word alone.
"These creatures do not attack flesh."
Leo continued, slowly pacing,
"They attack your very soul. They feed on fear, despair, and regret."
He glanced toward James briefly but said nothing.
His eyes held empathy—
But Leo knew James needed strength, not pity.
Leo flicked his wand, and the chalk wrote the following on the board:
Dementor Traits
Effects on Wizards and Muggles
How to Repel Them: Patronus Charm
"The spell to repel them is advanced."
Leo stated.
"Expecto Patronum. It's not just a spell. It's an act of will. Of hope. You must summon a memory strong enough to outshine despair."
With a calm flourish, Leo demonstrated.
"Expecto Patronum."
From the tip of his wand, a brilliant lion made of pure silver light burst forth, roaring across the classroom before dissipating.
Gasps followed.
Even Severus blinked in surprise.
Leo looked at each student.
"We will begin practice next week. For now, write a moment that brings you joy. One you would use against the dark."
The bell rang soon after.
After the Class,
Leo gathered his notes and quietly left.
He gave James one final glance.
The boy hadn't written a single word on his parchment.
But his fingers clutched the quill tightly, knuckles white.
Leo didn't speak—
But his presence lingered.
Because he understood what James was facing.
And because soon, James would need more than just knowledge—
He would need resolve.
Leo strode through the stone corridors of Hogwarts with purpose in his step, his long coat sweeping behind him.
The torches lining the walls flickered as if acknowledging his presence.
His destination was clear: the Headmaster's Office,
The only place in the castle with access to the Floo Network connected to external magical locations—
And today, he needed it.
Halfway through the hallway, a familiar voice called out.
"Leo, wait."
He turned to see Professor Minerva McGonagall,
Robes neat as ever, her expression a mix of curiosity and calm anticipation.
"You haven't changed your mind, have you?"
Leo asked with a smirk.
Smirk~
"Certainly not,"
Minerva replied, falling into step beside him.
"You did say it would be… enlightening."
"Oh, it will be,"
Leo said with a cryptic smile.
Headmaster's Office...
They stopped before the grand gargoyle statue.
"Fizzing Whizzbee,"
Leo said.
With a grinding motion, the stone gargoyle slid aside, and the spiral staircase began to move.
As they ascended, Minerva glanced sideways at him.
"____"
Leo shrugged.
"Dumbledore does. I just play along."
The moment the door opened, a subtle tension filled the room.
There sat Albus Dumbledore, sipping tea with a flushed face, and beside him, an equally flushed Gellert Grindelwald,
Whose posture was unusually stiff for a man normally so poised.
Both looked toward the newcomers with a startled blink—
Like two schoolboys caught sneaking sweets in class.
Leo raised an eyebrow.
"I'm not even going to ask."
He said flatly.
Minerva coughed discreetly behind her hand, clearly trying not to laugh.
Dumbledore, recovering, offered a polite nod.
"Ah, Leo. Professor McGonagall. Everything is prepared."
"Good,"
Leo nodded, already stepping toward the fireplace.
Nod~
With permission granted,
Leo reached into the nearby bowl, grabbed a fistful of floo powder, and turned to Minerva.
"Ready?"
"I've waited this long. Lead the way,"
She said firmly.
"Morningstar Mansion!"
Leo declared as he stepped into the green flames and vanished.
Minerva followed immediately after, followed by Grindelwald and then Dumbledore,
Who gave the office one last amused glance before disappearing in a flash of green flame.
As the green flames died down one by one,
Leo, followed by Minerva, Grindelwald, and Dumbledore, stepped out from the floo fireplace into the Morningstar Mansion.
Morningstar Mansion...
What greeted them was far from the solemn, quiet atmosphere they expected.
The mansion was bustling.
Laughter echoed faintly down the halls.
A few yokai with children's voices dashed past in playful pursuit,
A zombie in a butler's uniform offered tea to a slime monster, and above them, a few harmless bat-like creatures flitted under the chandelier.
The air was alive with magic, warmth, and the mingling of many species—
A fusion of worlds not even the most visionary minds in the wizarding world could've predicted.
Grindelwald and Dumbledore both came to a halt, eyes wide.
"What… in Merlin's name—"
Grindelwald murmured, eyes scanning a kappa carrying a tray of cookies across the hall.
Dumbledore, equally shocked, slowly turned to Leo.
"I was aware you had your… talents, Leo. But this is a whole different reality."
Leo chuckled, completely at ease in the surreal surroundings.
"That's because they were from a different world. Or rather… a few of them I managed to travel."
He waved a hand casually.
"Yokai from the Nurarihyon world, monsters from the Hotel Transylvania universe… they all live here for now. For some time."
Grindelwald blinked.
"____"
"____"
Dumbledore nodded slowly, as if trying to process the scope of this revelation.
Nod~
Minerva, to their surprise, remained composed—
Though her eyes betrayed a flicker of awe.
"You knew,"
Dumbledore said, observing her.
"Only bits,"
She confessed, embarrassed.
"Not this much."
Secured Room...
Leo led them down the hallway to a secured room.
As he opened the door, they stepped inside to find a group already assembled and waiting.
At the centre,
Dracula stood with arms crossed, his eyes bouncing between Darcy and Jonny.
The latter looked visibly nervous, pacing slightly, while Darcy sat beside him, trying to convince him one last time.
"You don't have to do this."
She whispered.
"What if it goes wrong?"
"I have to do this, Darcy."
Jonny said, his voice surprisingly firm.
"I want to stand beside you—not just as your husband, but as someone who belongs in this world. No matter how hard I tried, I always felt like an outsider. But now I got a chance to change it..."
Standing nearby were Eileen, Hagoromo Gitsune, Mavis, Martha and the two Witch Sisters—
Heldie and Beatie, already setting up a small table with potion instruments with excited smiles while bickering with each other.
Everyone turned as Leo entered, followed by the legendary guests.
"They're here."
Mavis said softly, standing up and brushing her skirt.
The Witch Sisters gave a dramatic bow.
"Master, we've prepared the potion. It's stable and ready."
Heldie announced.
Leo gave a satisfied nod and turned to Jonny.
Nod~
"This is your last chance to back out."
He said, tone serious now.
"This potion will change your entire existence."
Jonny gulped, but nodded with conviction.
Gulp~
"I'm ready."
Behind him, Dracula sighed but smiled.
Sigh~
"At least this time he's doing something brave without pressing a shiny red button."
Everyone chuckled—
Chuckle~
"____"
Except Jonny, who looked like he was about to pass out.
Minerva moved beside Leo and whispered,
"Are you sure it's safe?"
"Yes,"
Leo said.
"They've been brewed by one of the best witches in that field. It's foolproof."
Grindelwald, always the strategist, observed closely.
"If this succeeds… the wizarding world will never be the same."
Dumbledore nodded slowly.
Nod~
"Let us witness history, then."
With all eyes on him,
Jonny reached for the glowing green vial as Heldie handed it over with theatrical flair.
His hands trembled, but his gaze didn't waver.
He looked at Darcy one last time.
"I love you."
Then, without further hesitation—
He drank the potion.
Gulp~
Everyone held their breath as Jonny stood with the empty potion vial in his hand.
Seconds passed.
Nothing.
"____"
"____"
"____"
Jonny nervously peeked open one eye, glancing at Leo.
"Uh… did it work?"
Before Leo could respond—
THUMP.
A loud, singular heartbeat echoed through the room.
Jonny clutched his chest.
His eyes turned white.
His expression twisted into pain, and a guttural scream tore from his throat.
AHHHHHHHH!
"JONNY!"
Darcy lunged forward.
Martha clutched Dracula's hand.
Even the fearless vampire king looked shaken.
Leo, however, raised a calming hand.
"It's starting,"
He said, voice low but steady.
"The transformation has begun."
Green foamy mist began to seep from Jonny's mouth and nose, swirling like smoke, surrounding him in an eerie glow.
His body lifted into the air, limbs outstretched as if pulled by invisible strings.
His veins bulged, glowing faintly—
Almost like some foreign energy was forcing its way into his bloodstream.
Heldie and Beatie watched with wide eyes, nodding to each other, monitoring the reaction.
Leo didn't flinch.
"____"
Crackles of magic energy sparked from Jonny's fingertips.
His body jerked, convulsed—
And then, with one final heart-thumping pulse—
He dropped.
Darcy, already in motion, caught him and gently lowered him to the ground.
His breathing was laboured but steady.
His eyes slowly fluttered open—
No longer the same.
Leo turned to the Witch Sisters.
"Well?"
Beatie knelt beside Jonny and ran her wand slowly along his body.
A moment later, she nodded.
Nod~
"He has magic."
Heldie grinned.
Darcy's eyes widened, tears brimming with joy.
She hugged Jonny tightly.
"You did it… You really did it."
Jonny blinked, confused and dizzy.
"____"
"I did… something?"
Dracula, speechless for once, walked over, knelt beside him, and placed a hand on his son-in-law's shoulder.
"Welcome back… Wizard Jonathan Loughran."
Everyone in the room let out the breath they didn't realise they were holding.
Even Dumbledore and Grindelwald exchanged astonished glances.
Dumbledore whispered, more to himself than anyone else.
"This… changes everything."
Leo, watching Jonny struggle to sit up with his new magic pulsing inside him, simply smiled.
He had done what no one else dared to even dream.
'He made magic… possible.'
Jonny's eyes widened like saucers as the words "You are now a wizard" echoed in his ears.
He blinked.
"____"
Then blinked again.
And suddenly leapt to his feet with a loud whoop.
"YESSS! I'M A WIZARD! I'M ACTUALLY A WIZARD!"
Everyone watched in amusement as Jonny excitedly reached into his coat pocket—
And pulled out a stick he found in the garden earlier.
"Okay! Let's try this… 'Kamehameha!'"
Nothing.
"____"
"'Hadouken!'"
Still nothing.
"____"
"Avada Kedav—"
"STOP RIGHT THERE."
Darcy smacked his head.
She had read some books to know more about wizards in this world after Jonny wanted to become one.
During one of her conversations with Bella, who told her about Leo's battle with Voldemort.
Understood how deadly the curse Jonny was about to cast.
Good thing she stopped him before he did something stupid and let out a relieved sigh.
Sigh~
Leo raised a brow.
Dracula facepalmed.
Even Heldie and Beatie giggled.
Giggle~
"You need actual magical knowledge to cast spells, Jonny."
Leo said, chuckling.
Chuckle~
"This isn't a manga. You need control, focus, and study."
With a casual flick of his wand, Leo gestured to the wall.
From a magically sealed bookcase in the Morningstar library, several books floated into the room, glowing softly.
They landed neatly in Leo's hands before he passed them to Jonny.
"Here. These are first-year textbooks from Hogwarts. If you want to be a real wizard, start like everyone else."
Jonny looked down at the stack of books titled:
A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration
The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 1
Magical Theory
Magical Drafts and Potions
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
His mouth dropped open.
"____"
"I… I have homework now?"
Leo smirked.
Smirk~
"Welcome to wizard school, Jonny."
As Jonny sat down with the books spread out around him—
Utterly fascinated—
Darcy leaned her head on his shoulder with a smile, and Dracula wiped away a tear.
"He's finally going to be useful."
Dracula muttered emotionally.
And so, the first muggle-born-by-potion wizard,
Jonathan Loughran began his magical education—
With the wide-eyed wonder of a child, and the chaos potential of a nuclear bomb.
