The big gray cat pawed at Lanci's hand, urging him to keep feeding it without pause.
"Alright, don't rush."
Lanci played with it one-handed while reaching out to the nearly empty pastry gift box on the coffee table.
"It seems to really like these pastries. I'll ask Secretary Nyla to send a few more boxes back to you later."
Violet watched the gray cat in Lanci's arms with great interest.
The distance between the two of them had actually grown much closer compared to their first meeting. Nyla frequently updated Violet on Professor Landry's teaching situation at the monastery, revealing the professor's genuine care for his students and his earnest disposition, making it hard for Violet not to admire him.

The cat, Talia, suddenly became aware, realizing something.
