Chapter 163 - Age Of Carnage 1

After the main Ben leaves the Universe 11052 and goes towards the Universe 12041 to know what is happening there.

In the meantime he is also thinking about the things he has done, after leaving one of his clones in Universe 11052, and one in Universe 12041, same he has done with many Universes, which he found interesting.

As he crossed many Universes, it was the event of one of them.

Ben brushed past a realm that stopped him cold.

This was the universe haunted by Carnage.

Here, the alien symbiote—spawned from Venom—had bonded with the sadistic serial killer Cletus Kasady. Together, they became Carnage: a walking nightmare of bloodlust and mayhem.

Unlike Venom, who clung to some twisted sense of morality, Carnage embraced madness like an old friend.

Their reign of terror had descended upon the quiet American town of Doverton, Colorado.

It began in a meatpacking factory, where Carnage consumed everything—meat, workers, machines—leaving behind only blood-slicked walls and bone.

Then it spread.

Through drains and sinks, through the very plumbing of the town, the symbiote slithered like a virus. Cletus had a vision: to transform Doverton into something new. A symbiote state, his own grotesque nation, built not on law or order—but on slaughter and submission.

A team of heroes—Captain America, Wolverine, Hawkeye, and The Thing—moved like shadows through the twisted remains of Doverton. Spider-Man was leading towards the town.

They reached the town square—only to find Carnage waiting for them.

Within the grotesque body, Cletus Kasady's eyes burned with maniac joy. Around him, dozens of townspeople were suspended like grotesque marionettes, half-merged with the symbiote hive.

"Let them go, Carnage! Release these innocent people!" Captain America's voice rang out, he raised his shield.

Kasady let out a shrill, unhinged laugh.

"Theehehe... Let them go? Oh, Stevie... we're just getting started!" The voice came from everywhere and nowhere.

"They're part of me now. My children. My choir of screams."

Wolverine growled, claws gleaming.

"Enough talk. I say we carve this freak a new one."

"Hold your ground," Spider-Man muttered, narrowing his eyes. "We don't know how far the infection's spread. One wrong move and we're all part of his sick little family."

Hawkeye stepped forward, already lining up his shot.

"We've got to act now, before this place turns into another symbiote world!"

He notched an explosive arrow and drew the string tight—when suddenly, a seething red tendril shot from the ground, snapping around his arm like a whip.

"Hawkeye!" Captain America shouted, lunging forward.

Too late.

Moments later, a new monstrosity emerged, Hawkeye's uniform straining under bulging patches of alien flesh.

"Your turn, Cappy!" Carnage-Clint cackled. He then lunged with shocking speed, raking its talons across Captain America's vibranium shield.

"We've got to fall back," Thing rumbled as more ooze-covered civilians shambled towards them, hissing for flesh.

"And let that maniac turn the whole town into his sick army?" Wolverine growled, popping his claws. "I don't think so, bub."

"The whole town will be bombed if we don't act fast," Thing rumbled grimly. "We've got to take the risk."

"The name's Carnage now!" Cletus cackled from atop a water tower, his symbiotic form pulsating with bloodlust. "And nobody's stopping me from turning this town red!"

"I have a plan," said Spider-Man. "Everybody distracts Carnage. I'll try to free the hostages while his guard is down."

The Thing roared and slammed a device into the ground—a set of compact sonic disruptors rigged to blast high-frequency waves in all directions. The ground quaked, and an agonizing screech tore through the air as Carnage's form writhed, recoiling from the sonic assault.

"Eat this, ugly!" Ben Grimm bellowed, bracing himself as pulses of sound sent crimson tendrils flying.

At the same time, Captain America launched himself into the fray, shield a blur as it ricocheted between Carnage's flailing limbs. Every strike sliced through the symbiote matter, holding back its advance for precious seconds.

But even as they pressed forward, Cletus Kasady continued to laugh with wild, exultant glee.

"You think this is a pain? This is birth, you fools!" he shrieked, his voice gurgling through the liquid red chaos. "This town isn't dying—it's becoming!"

Then the unthinkable happened.

The corrupted forms of Wolverine and Hawkeye lurched from the shadows—now half-consumed by the symbiote, their eyes glowing with unnatural fury.

Their movements were jerky, unnatural, controlled like puppets on strings of blood.

"Logan? Clint?!" Spider-Man's voice cracked with disbelief as his former allies turned on him.

"Run, kid!" The Thing shouted, smashing back a lunging tendril. "They ain't themselves anymore!"

Spider-Man dodged, flipped, and twisted as Wolverine's claws slashed through the air inches from his face.

Hawkeye launched a barrage of black-red arrows, each one pulsing with symbiotic slime.

Spidey spun a desperate web-line, catching a lamppost and yanking himself out of reach—but not before a tendril nicked his shoulder, sending a surge of searing heat through his arm.

"Not good. Not good!" he muttered, heart racing.

As he darted into the alleyways, the infected town around him seemed to close in, every wall pulsing with faint red veins.

Just when it seemed like the web-slinger would be overwhelmed, a pair of hands grabbed him from the shadows and pulled him through a hidden passage behind an old storefront.

He landed hard, groaning—and looked up to see a group of uninfected townsfolk, eyes wide with urgency and fear.

"You're him, right? Spider-Man?" a woman asked, clutching a rusted shotgun.

"We've been hiding in the old tunnels. We saw what Carnage did to the factory, to the sheriff, to everyone… But you're fighting back."

Another man stepped forward, holding a battered radio.

"We're not giving up. But we need a plan. We need someone who knows how to hit that thing where it hurts."

Spider-Man winced, clutching his shoulder, and forced a grin.

"Yeah? Then I guess you just found your guy."

Meanwhile, the government had been watching everything from a distance. They knew Carnage was getting stronger every minute. If he wasn't stopped soon, he could spread across the world.

So they sent in a special team of soldiers, each one enhanced with their own symbiotes. These soldiers were trained for missions like this. Their goal was clear: stop Carnage, rescue any civilians, and get out before the government gave the final order…

To bomb the entire town.

The soldiers arrived fast—dropping from helicopters, guns ready, black symbiotes clinging to their suits. At first, it looked like they might win.

But Carnage was too strong.

He tore through the team like paper, his twisted body growing larger, meaner. The ground shook with every step he took. One by one, the soldiers fell—some consumed, others turned into new puppets under Carnage's control.

Then, just when all hope seemed lost, Spider-Man returned.

He led a group of brave townsfolk, carrying homemade weapons—Molotov cocktails, bats, and anything they could find. They had no powers, but they had courage.

"Now!" Spider-Man shouted, and the townsfolk rushed in.

They threw firebombs, lit the streets up in orange flames, and targeted the core of Carnage's body. The symbiote screamed, parts of it burning and melting. The heroes fought with everything they had—The Thing, Captain America, and even Wolverine, who finally broke free of Carnage's grip, slashing through the monster with rage.

In the end… they won.

But it didn't feel like victory.

The town was in ruins. Many people were lost. Some heroes were injured, others still haunted by what they saw. The symbiote-enhanced soldiers had been destroyed. Parts of the town still pulsed with leftover symbiote matter.

Spider-Man stood in the ashes, breathing hard, mask torn.

"We stopped him… but barely," he said.

It was a painful reminder: Carnage is no ordinary villain. He's a living nightmare—so powerful that he took control of some of Earth's mightiest heroes.
