"Noted." Nan Sichen replied briefly, ending the call. Then, he turned to the police captain, handing over his phone. "There's a recording on this. It should serve as evidence—you can make a copy of it."
The police captain took Nan Sichen's phone and quickly went off to copy the recording. Only then did Nan Sichen unhurriedly finish buttoning his shirt, gather his belongings, and prepare to leave.
Cassie asked from behind him, "What's your wife's name?"
Nan Sichen turned to look at her. "What are you planning?"
Cassie quickly waved her hands. "Don't get me wrong, I don't mean anything by it. I'm just curious—what kind of woman could be so extraordinary that she managed to conquer you?"
Nan Sichen's lips curved slightly. With a faint smile, he uttered two words, "Qin Yin."
With that said, he turned and walked out.
"Qin Yin, Qin Yin, Qin Yin..." Cassie softly repeated the name several times, engraving it firmly in her memory.
