Shangguan Xu is a typical scholar, not much of a talker, but Adelle is different, whimsical and particularly troublesome. The two of them together complement each other nicely.
Ni Yang stroked her chin, "The only issue is the age gap. There's an eight-year difference between them."
Mo Qishen, unconcerned, said, "What's wrong with that? You and I have a ten-year gap." Ni Yang is only twenty this year, while he is already thirty.
Ni Yang raised an eyebrow slightly, "So you're robbing the cradle."
Mo Qishen's lips curled up slightly, his voice deep, "I am your devoted servant."
Ni Yang clicked her tongue, "I've noticed that you've gotten quite good at talking."
Mo Qishen wrapped an arm around her waist, "All thanks to the leader's good training."
Ni Yang pushed his hand away, "Smooth talker, now get going and light the fire."
For lunch, Ni Yang prepared a big table of dishes.
