The village chief's wife?
Xia Liyou and Ai Wei glanced at each other, then relaxed and followed the village chief to his home.
"Ah? You came to the village this time to choose trainees? But what exactly are trainees?" The village chief guided them on the way and struck up a conversation.
"Trainees are those learning to become stars. Our company is short of staff now, so we came here especially to look for people." Ai Wei explained with a smile.
"Oh, so they want to be stars, but why choose this small village?" The village chief asked with puzzlement.
"Because I think the villagers here are more simple and honest, with a special feeling. And, everyone has dreams, so we want to come here to see if there are those who aspire to be stars. Village chief, do you have any good recommendations?"
"Um, there seem to be a few in the village who are quite good singers." The village chief stroked his chin, carefully recalling.
