When Nanxi entered the ward, Han Qing was reading.
Upon hearing the sound, Han Qing lifted her head, catching the gaze of Nanxi who was standing behind Xiaoxin. After a brief pause, she broke into a smile, "Nanxi, why are you here?"
Xiaoxin beside them brightened up at this!
So, it turned out to be true--Miss Han and Miss Gu did know each other, just as Lun Ying had said!
"Miss Han, I...I came to see you!" Nanxi opened her mouth to respond.
"Hmm, don't just stand there, come on in!" Han Qing warmly invited her.
Nanxi nodded as Xiaoxin and her walked in together. Han Qing put down her book and asked Xiaoxin to pour a cup of tea for Nanxi.
Nanxi's eyes flickered as she noticed the book Han Qing had been reading—The Collected Poems of Tagore. It was the same edition as the one in Lu Yinchu's study room!
"Miss Han, would you like some fruit? I can peel some for you!" Xiaoxin proposed.
Han Qing nodded, "Great, thank you!"
