Mi Li has a decent tolerance for alcohol, but compared to Lun Sui, it's obviously far weaker. They were drinking spirits, and since she downed her first glass too quickly, she was already feeling lightheaded before finishing her second.
Lun Sui raised his hand to ruffle her hair. Mi Li immediately grabbed his hand and turned her face to press against his palm, rubbing against it in a way that seemed unintentionally coquettish. "I think I'm a bit drunk," she murmured.
She tilted her head up and leaned her pink lips toward him, but Lun Sui turned his head aside and instead kissed her cheek.
Lun Sui disliked kissing. Mi Li had guessed right — he thought kissing was disgustingly unhygienic.
Her head throbbed painfully. Mi Li tapped her forehead with her hand, feeling dizzy. She leaned against Lun Sui, her body soft and limp like a puddle of mud. Closing her eyes, it didn't take long for her to sink into a drowsy sleep.
