Lily Smith touched her lips and then said, "Don't tell my mommy about today's incident, okay?"
The man laughed, his tone meaningful, "That depends on whether I feel like it."
Lily Smith puffed her cheeks, angrily thinking, this guy definitely has his own agenda!
She stood up from the chair, walked past Sky Moore to the doctor's office where the doctor was treating Hadley Morrison's wounds. His face was covered with colorful ointments, looking utterly unsightly.
Lily Smith, feeling sympathetic, walked over and poked Hadley Morrison's arm, and cautiously asked, "Are you going home to stay tonight?"
Hadley Morrison frowned, his face almost unrecognizable, and hesitated before shaking his head, "No, I guess not... If I go back looking like this, my dad would kill me."
Lily Smith deeply agreed.
Her facial wounds could still be explained away as an accident from falling, but Hadley Morrison's multicolored face couldn't possibly be explained by just a fall face-first.
