The man in the suit caught a glimpse of Mason Carter charging towards him out of the corner of his eye and walked straight out of the banquet hall.
Mason Carter chased after him.
Some saw Mason Carter leave the banquet hall, but no one took it to heart.
The stairwell was deserted.
Mason Carter caught up with the man in the suit and asked naively, "Uncle, do you really know where Ultraman's home is?" The man in the suit, who had passed Mason Carter earlier, had told Mason, "I know where Ultraman's home is."
He was a man skilled at reading people. In the hotel lobby, from Mason's behavior, he could see straight through that this was just a child who liked Ultraman. Children have a longing to get close to their hero figures; they don't know it's just a fiction concocted by adults.
The man in the suit stood in a blind spot of the surveillance camera, smiled amiably at Mason, "I'm going to Ultraman's home right now, do you want to come?"
