"Not much," Mariana Buck glanced at her twice, lifted a bag in front of her, and asked blandly, "Want some?"
Flossie Wright was slower than her; Mariana had noticed this on the way and inadvertently caught sight of Flossie near the school gate when they were about to find the contact person.
Yet unexpectedly, Flossie arrived at the playground before her.
It was just a casual question; Flossie didn't want to answer, nor did Mariana have a strong desire to know.
"Where did this come from?"
Flossie took the bag and raised an eyebrow in question.
Inside the bag was a tightly packed box, presumably some kind of specialty product.
But—
Mariana offering her these things, is she turning over a new leaf?
She didn't remember having a particularly harmonious relationship with Mariana.
"A friend gave it to me."
Mariana replied coolly.
After saying this, she turned around and walked back to her table.
