After leaving the hotel, Jesslyn Derei returned home.
She saw her mother, Fiona Morgan, sitting in the living room watching television.
"Mom, have you packed your bags? The flight is in the afternoon; don't be late."
Fiona Morgan put down the remote control and stood up, walking over, "Derei, after thinking it over, I can't leave you alone here in Brocade City. Both you and Penelope need to be taken care of, so I won't be going back to my hometown after all."
Jesslyn Derei smiled gently, taking Fiona Morgan's hand, "Mom, didn't I tell you that I am going to rest for a few months? Besides, I've hired a nanny. You're not used to being here, so it's better for you to go back home, where many relatives and friends can keep you company and you have people to hang out with. Moreover, dad must be lonely all by himself at home. You should go back and keep him company."
"That stubborn old man doesn't need any looking after."
